![]() ![]() I'm not sure if the staff were fully aware, but nobody seemed to be doing these things in private. It is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that are so lax as to allow people in the pool in the middle of the night, and also clothed or unclothed. we found it hilarious, so much so that we filmed it on our camera (so if that was you, you are lucky you are not on YOU tube by now.but it is never too late!!) but I can imagine many people not finding this very funny at all. Later in the week we found out what people meant by the pool, we came home from clubbing at about 5 am to see 3 different couples blatantly having *** (the site would not let me write the word) in the pool!!! And no we were seeing things, it was quite clear. This is open from about 3 -6am, so as long as you can sleep through noise you will be ok. Their was only one half mirror in the room which wasn’t the best for getting dressed, and the best point was there was only one socket in the room (which was cleverly situation between the beds, nowhere near the mirror, so you had to choose between the hair straighter, iron or stereo!!! Bring your own extension lead!! Our shower head would not stay in its holder, so you had to shower holding the shower head. The rooms were very hot and the air con wasn’t worth paying for, as im sure a hand fan could have done more. The decor was very dated, to be fair this is often the case with basic accommodation in Napa, and I have been there five times now, so seen a few rooms via friends and my own stays. We found it difficult to fit two open suitcases in the room and still have space to move about. The room was extremely small, and there were only two of us in there. ![]() The corridor to our room was lined with wet water and a plant pot that I think had been stolen from reception and was upturned soil and all. Now for the other stuff, we were greeted with the chaos that was Pambos Magic for our whole stay!! Noise, wet floors, people running about having water fights and a drunk guy welcoming us to the hotel (another guest) telling us how mad it was, and not to go in the pool because people keep getting ear infections. It is a few minutes walk to the square, has a shop next door and a moped hire shop on the same street. Other facilities at the hotel include a well equipped gym and several pool bars serving food. Its more 18 - 20's that 18 -30's! We stayed there on an allocated on arrival, so were not pleasantly surprised! lolįirstly for the positive points.
